Though Wilhelm Chaney is now regarded as an exceptional talent and a true professional, this was not always the case for the Wolfman. Bitten by a werewolf at a young age, he was forced to spend most of his adolescent years as an outcast from society, and it is this that is widely accepted as the cause of his erratic behaviour both on and off the pitch.
